Founded with a passion for nature and a dedication to wellness, The Restorative Candle Company crafts beautiful hand poured soy wax candles and wax melts. Having struggled with my mental health whilst raising my young family, i know all too well the importance of taking time to look after yourself and the inherent guilt that this can bring. Life is so busy and fast paced, there are not enough hours in the day. Discovering my neurodivergence in adulthood changed my life. I finally understood why i find it difficult to do certain things, and instead of seeing these difficulties as character flaws, i finally began to learn to accept myself. During a particularly long period of burnout due to juggling a busy young family and a stressful work life, i began to understand the importance of the natural world, appreciating the small moments of joy in the day, and gratitude for the simple pleasures in life. How getting outside and into nature, whatever the weather conditions, forces you to slow down, unwind and see the bigger picture. In time, i realised that in order for these beautiful spaces to still be available for future generations to benefit, that i would like to do something, however small, to help to protect them for future generations. With this mission in mind, The Restorative Candle Company was founded. For every candle purchased a tree is planted and our candle dust covers are made with seeded paper which can be planted to grow wildflowers to help our bees.
